This gave PWLL hope & within a minute a long kick by GK Jason Saunders put Mark Aitken in a good position to run at the defence 30 yds out only to unleash an unstoppable shot high into the net. At 3-2 it was all PWLL with 5 mins to go however it was Johnstown who broke clear & scored the final goal for a 4-2 win.

After some forking & brushing of water off the pitch the only Game of premier league to finish commenced with Clive Thomas in charge.Trostre are a good side & took the lead whilst playing with the wind in 1st half however PWLL commanded most of the game in the 2nd period with Anthony Bonnell equalising with a tap in on the line. If PWLL keep this form up there will be a good chance of beating the drop.
15/03/08 PWLL Reserves 0 Seaside 0
PWLL played really well against a very strong Seaside team in weather normally only ducks enjoy in the only game played in the whole of the league. Seaside were slightly stronger in 1st half but for Lofty tipping a long powerful shot onto the bar kept a clean sheet.Good to see Rob Thomas put an appearance in midfield with McCarthy & Tom Watkeys who was again unlucky to come off with injury.Shea & Aitken were the front runners & were both unlucky not to score.Mooney also had his chance to score the winner with a header from a corner.Paddy & Kevin Aitken were also strong in the back leaving Curtis freely swimming forward with his webbed feet.

The weather became worse & the wind became stronger which put pressure on the PWLL defence.Blakey had one glorious chance to put PWLL ahead but failed to so. Johnstown scored from afar with a freekick & once they went 3-1 ahead the game was over for PWLL. 16/02/08 PWLL 3 Burry Port 3
Scorers for Pwll were new signing Gareth Mahoney,a great freekick debut goal, Darren Blake & Anthony Bonnell. Apart from official decisions Pwll looked like the team on top of league & Burry Port looked stunned. A full blooded derby match with 3 goals coming in the last 2 minutes. Blakey who had a poor 1st half made up & scored to make it 1-2 before halftime. After some hard talking from player/manager MarkAitken PWLL freed themselves up & started playing good football.Blakey scored a hat-trick with Mark Aitken netting twice however the pick of the goals came from Mal Rees to put PWLL 3-2 up after a long ball to Blakey who with one touch played the ball to Mal who took control of the ball & shoot from 20 yards to score a cracker. A back four of Kev Aitken,Paddy,Mooney & Curt Allen played well in 2nd half other than to allow a Westends midfielder to score his hat-trick with a fine header from a corner.

Reserve Div 1 Pengelli Reserves 1 Pwll Reserves 0
Pwll were 10 seconds away from gaining a well deserved point at grovesend however a deflected shot which hit Adrian (Paddy) Gray under pressure from a Pengelli forward went passed GK Lofty who could not do a thing about the goal after he had a tremendous game in goal for Pwll. Sat 5/1/08 Senior Cup. Pwll 5 Calsonic 0

Pwll created a lot of chances that should have hit the back of the net more often in an all round good performance with 5 goals & a clean sheet for GK Jason Saunders.

Sat 29/12/07 Reserve Div 1 Bwlch Res 3 PWLL Reserves 1
Although this was a tidy performance by Pwll, it was Bwlch playing a number of 1st teamers who came off best with thier clinical finishing. Bwlch were 3-0 up by HT however an improved performance uphill & against the wind gave Pwll more possesion in 2nd half. Sat 03/11/07 PWLL Reserves 1 Garden Village 4
Pwll totally outplayed Village in the 1st half & deserved the 1st goal scored by Tom Watkeys playing his 1st game after a few weeks of injury. The good news was that Watkeys lasted 90 mins, the bad news is that the whole team did not. A penalty was given for a silly push in the back for Village to equalise. Village went ahead when everybody stopped playing including GK Lofty & Centreback Paddy Gray when a cornerkick seemed to be well over the goalkick line before the striker headed home on the line in the centre of the goal. Heads dropped at this point & Village took the game with thier new found confidence.Pwll did have chances with a Watkeys diving header just missing after Paddy's cross & Mal Rees just clipped the post on a 30 yard drive.Ashley Davies is now getting stronger & played well & deserves to play with players who can push him up a level. Sat 27/10/07 Hendy 4 PWLL 3
PWLL were pulled nearer the relegation zone by losing a match to last seasons promotion rivals Hendy who were NOT even at thier own best. PWLL then had to fight back from 3-1 down to 3-3 with goals from a Kev Evans deflected shot & an inspirational substitute appearance by Lee Burns who's volley from an acute angle made for a great equaliser. PWLL's undoing as they tried pushing for the win came in the last minute when Gav Evans gave a penalty away when a Hendy forward broke loose.

John Taylors HT talk must have done something to gee up the team as when Christian Bonnell equalised early on heads were raised & he scored his 2nd goal, with in a minute,a beautiful header to put Pwll 3-2 up.From there on in Confidence was soaring & KRUF didn't stand a chance.
In all Christian Bonnell scored 4,Steve Phillips & Kev Evans 2 each & Blakey scored 1.KRUF did score a 3rd to make it 7-3however the 10th goal seemed to be a phantom goal as it appeared on refs offical score sheet. We will put that one down to a og.

Camford scored in the 44th minute to make life hard for PWLL in 2nd period. PWLL played open attacking football when Lee scored the equaliser straight from a corner kick, the goalie could only palm the ball into the net.
